PERI

The village of Peri is such a tiny village and really quaint and lovely. The houses that are being restored are all beautifully done and the village is well cared for. If you go through during the day you would think no one at all stays there it is so quiet. The younger people work in the large town of Mires only 4.5 kms away and the rest are out working in their fields. The buildings are so interesting, some homes have beautiful courtyards or terraces and everyone keeps their gardens looking colourful and charming. It is 3 kms to Pombia and approximately 4kms to The large town of Mires with all services. In the area are Phaestos, Zoros with it fresh water trout restaurants, and the Faneromeni lake.
