HARBOUR-SIDE HOTEL WITH FANTASTIC VIEWS
This harbour side hotel was built in 1983 and retains the old fashioned charm of hotels from this period.
There are two entrances, one from the harbour side through the café and the other from the rear of the building via a quiet cul-de-sac. The cafe/creperie is ideally located where one can enjoy a beverage, snack or crepe, while watching the world pass by and the boats bobbing about in the harbour. Behind the café in the middle part hotel guests can take their breakfast, in what is a light and airy area with a high ceiling. The kitchen is equipped with gas hobs, fridges and oven. There are 4 toilets to the rear.
The main reception is from the upper road.
A mezzanine area has storage and two WC’s.
There are 13 rooms altogether, most with the same internal style of double bed and sofa bed to give accommodation for up to 3 persons, bathroom (with half bath & shower fitting, or shower cubicle) and kitchenette with fridge and sink. Some rooms are slightly different, with one double bed to give accommodation for up to 2 persons. Every room has a balcony terrace and of course the sea facing rooms have the most wonderful views. But the rear views are not unpleasant, overlooking neighbouring properties, the town and the distant hills. The upper rear floors do have some sea or Lake view.
All rooms have central heating and air conditioning and so the hotel can be open all year round. There is an elevator.
The hotel is functioning and in good decorative order, although new owners may wish to modernize it. The location is excellent by the Harbour, with the Tourist Information office opposite. Car parking is to the rear of the building. Within a few minutes walk is the beach at Kitroplateia and other town beaches are also easily reached by foot.
