16 TRADITIONAL COTTAGES
A selection of traditional Cretan style stone cottages with character. Restored in 1978 and renovated in 2005, all the cottages are ready to live in and in good decorative order. Road access is good to all of them with car parking by each property.
There are 8 cottages of 38m2 and 8 cottages of 60m2. The larger cottages sleep 4/5 persons with a main double bedroom, 2/3 single beds in the living room, fully equipped kitchenette, bathroom with bath or shower and WC. The smaller cottages have one double bedroom plus single bed in the living room, also with fully equipped kitchenette, bathroom with bath or shower and WC. There are nice patios and outside areas, with lovely views.
Although not situated all together in a solid complex, they still individually form part of a substantial business enterprise. Additionally, the whole can be purchased and then sold off individually or in separate groups.
The cottages can use the pool and snack bar at the main complex.
Koutsounari, less than 2 kms from the sea, is a popular village with holiday-makers and therefore these properties are ideal for holiday homes, but also suitable for permanent, all round living, especially as this part of the south coast enjoys mild winters. The village has tavernas, cafes, bars and shops. Ierapetra at 9 kms has all the facilities one would expect from a large town and port, including two cinemas, an archaeological museum, sea front promenades and harbour, hospital and other medical facilities plus of course, many restaurants, tavernas, bars and other entertainment venues.
